The square gilt frame is crowned with a cast ribbon bow and laurel swags in the Louis XVI manner, the border is cast with a running leaf-and-berry band, and the circular aperture is finished with a beaded gilt bezel against a bone colored mount.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt still holds its original photograph: two little girls in matching white coats and wide-brimmed hats, standing side by side, a lovely image in its own right. We have left it in place; it lifts out easily if you would rather frame a photograph of your own.
