Antique Gilt Ribbon Bow Photo Frame with Hand-Painted Roses
Such a sweet one. A square gilt frame crowned with a cast ribbon bow, with a finely reeded and leaf-cast border, surrounding a white mount painted with garlands of pink roses, green leaves and soft blue tendrils. The round aperture is ringed in gilt.
It still holds a charming sepia photograph of two little girls in ruffled bonnets, one smiling and one serious, which we have left in place. It can easily be swapped for a photograph of your own. The back is covered in green cloth with turn clips and a fold-out easel, so it stands neatly on a desk, nightstand or dressing table.
